On a holiday trip visited Whitby. Had a stop at Arnies for Tea and cake. While sitting outside watching the world go by notice how good the food looked. .. so went back a few hours later for a light lunch. Good decision, lovely staff.

Have always liked good ole Arnie's. Great little place with lots of outdoor seating n good for people watching. If you're visiting on a weekend and a weekend when there is a big event on, be prepared for a wait. It was Whitby Goth Weekend and had the longest wait ever for just two cuppas, thought they'd forgotten about us. But staff are great, it's worth a bit of a wait.

Great space to sit and eat on a warm day in Whitby. We managed to get a table in the square for our breakfast and watched the world go by. Our coffees seemed to be with us within seconds of ordering and our breakfast buns of bacon, egg and sausage were delicious. The young lady that served us was courteous and efficient ordering items on her iPad.
